Designed by Southend-on-Sea borough council for the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, this garden aimed to create a touch of early twentieth century, coastal-style nostalgia. With that in mind, they've opted for thick hedges, plentiful fruit and vegetable plants and a mobile hut to represent coastal shepherding of this time. Glass plaques with images of shepherds and sheep complete the quirky theme.
