Bambusa oldhamii - Giant Timber Bamboo

Oldhamii Giant Timber Bamboo is cold tolerant to the low 20's This is the famous Oldhamii timber bamboo used throughout Walt Disney World. It is impressive in mass and stature, with culms that can grow in excess of 4" in diameter and over 55' tall when well watered and fed. It is a very easy plant to grow and with proper water and fertilization will achieve mature size in just a few years. Oldhamii produces tall and very straight timber in a tight clumping pattern. It is truly a well behaved giant. This is a very easy plant to grow which requires little attention once rooted. That being said the more water and food you give it the more it will impress you. Commonly used for large privacy hedges and windbreaks on large properties.

Bambusa Textilis Gracilis  bamboo plant is the most sought after landscape bamboo we sell. Used extensively throughout discriminating landscapes for its small footprint and delicate appearance. This bamboo is small enough to grow successfully in a large pot and can be easily thinned and groomed to achieve any shape or form. Gracilis can easily be groomed into a handsome hedge and is a superior choice over Areca palms for it's wind resistance and lower maintenance costs. Gracilis is easy to grow and requires little care once established in the ground. That being said the more food and water you give the plant it will impress you.
